It was an honor to work with Derek and Kaelyn Maine this past weekend. They chose us for a variety of our services. We started out the day creating memories with photography. Dennis joined us later at the Barn at Five Lakes to set up the audio and run through the music they had chosen. I often stopped to check on Derek to make sure he was ok. He was pretty nervous, which I thought was so darn cute. It brought me back to my own wedding 11 years ago from that week.
Programs we designed arrived with a family member prior to the ceremony. All was set to go for the ceremony until a black cloud started to loom in the distance. The Five Lakes Resort staff helped us cover all electrical pieces in hopes that it would shift to the south and miss us. At 4:00 pm we were given the all clear and quickly put everything back up. There were a few drops that caught us in action but nothing that would interfere with safety during use of the equipment. It was a beautiful ceremony. All guests retreated to the barn for the social hour while we continued to take a few more snap shots. Once everyone was back inside the barn, the clouds let loose and the rain came down through sunshine. I've been told before that this is good luck. So is it better to find a rainbow? I found it funny that on one side of the barn it was a light rain and on the other side of the barn it was dry with a rainbow in the sky. Derek and Kaelyn must have found the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. During the dinner, we provided a slideshow of Derek and Kaelyn's relationship. We also surprised the couple and their guests with some photos of them during the ceremony. You could hear a pin drop when they were shown with a few "awes" in the background. Thank you for choosing Stage Systems to help make your day memorable. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors together. Stage Systems
